AIRPORT TRANSFER BOOKED
Did you booked the transfer from the airport on arrival? How will you find us?

Our driver will be at the exit door of flights (you will go out from that gate for sure) waiting for you with a sign with the logo of the Surf  Camp and your name. We will help you with your luggage and take you to your accommodation in a van to make the check-in. The trip takes about 30 minutes and the driver, of course, knows the way to get to the accommodation.  It is very important that if the flight is delayed you communicate urgently to us please!

VERY IMPORTANT: REMEMBER TO PAY DIRECTLY TO THE DRIVER THE 35€ PER WAY OF THE AIRPORT TRANSFER. If you booked transfer on arrival and departure you need to pay both of them together on arrival to the driver: 35€+35€  If you feel for it, you can also give hime some tip 😉

I DIDN’T CONTRACT AIRPORT TRANSFER, I WILL COME BY BUS
I didn’t contract the airport transfer and i want to come by bus. Who is gonna be waiting for me to make the check-in in the accommodation?

• After airport arrival, go upstairs to the 1st floor
• Go out of the building and turn right where Bus station is. Take the Line 60 to Santa Catalina bus stop (last one is at 20:15)
• Once arrived to Santa Catalina, walk 750m to “Playa de Las Canteras”
• Paseo de Las Canteras 57 (Surf Hostel HiTide blue and white building) OR NEXT DOOR Paseo de Las Canteras 58 (Surf House/Apartamentos la Goleta green building). We have both accommodations door to door, check which one you booked.
The Way from Gran Canaria Airport (LPA) to Surf Camp accommodation in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria
After your baggage claim, you will arrive at the lower floor of the arrival terminal. Turn right, get upstair using the mechanical stairs or elevator. Once you are upstairs, walk out of the building and on the right side you will arrive at the area for all kinds of public transport.

You find the bus stop and taxis stop. Take the bus Line 60 to San Telmo/Santa Catalina, that leaves the airport every 30 minutes. You can download the bus schedule here. Watch out that the last one is at 22:15, so if your arrival is later, you might contract a airport pickup better. It costs around 3€ to get to Santa Catalina, which is the final stop on the line and your destination to get to the surf camp. If you decide to skip the bus ride and to go by taxi, it’s about 35 € for the way from the Airport to Las Palmas or about 7 € from San Telmo. We recommend in that case to book the airport transfer better.

Tip: Buy your ticket from the bus driver, not from the crappy vending machine at the bus stop.

Arriving at Santa Catalina bus station after a 30 min. bus ride, enter street level upstairs and walk across the Santa Catalina parque towards “Calle Nicolás Estévez” and down the road for 750m. Watch out for road signs, pointing in direction of “Playa Las Canteras“. As soon as you arrive on the beach promenade (Paseo de Las Canteras) turn left and follow it for another 100 m.

On the Paseo de Las Canteras, make sure the street numbers are decreasing. As soon as you arrive at number 57 (Surf Hostel) or 58 (Surf House), turn left and say welcome to our beachfront house.

It’s very important, if you don’t want to wait on the street for a while, that once you arrive by bus at the bus station of Santa Catalina send us a SMS / Watsaap or call us at +34 654 901 298 so that we are ready to receive you.

I DIDN’T CONTRACT AIRPORT TRANSFER, I WILL RENT A CAR OR COME BY TAXI
I didn’t contract the airport shuttle transfer, and i will rent a car at the airport or take a taxi. What direction should i go? Who is gonna wati for me to make the check-in in the accommodation?

If you rent a car or grab a taxi from the airport. You might take direction Las Palmas. Tell the taxi driver to bring you to Calle Portugal nº19, this is the corner of Calle Portugal with Calle Galileo (Guanarteme neighborhood area). It’s the closest you can approach to the accommodation address, Paseo de las Canteras nº58 (not possible to drive by car). From there you can walk to the Paseo de Las Canteras, in 1 minute you will be at the hotel “Apartamentos La Goleta” is where our accommodation is based Surf House. Our SurfCamp Staff will be responsible to receive you. Please send us a SMS or call us at +34 654 901 298 so that we are ready to receive you once you leave from the Airport!

IMPORTANT!!! ON ARRIVAL!!!

  • Please remember that you might make the rest of the payment on the arrival in CASH, we don’t accept credit cards
  • Up on arrival we will give you a map of the city with the program of the week
  • Print and read this contract at home and you can give it to us singed while the check-in.  DOWNLOAD THE CONTRACT
