7 things about our Surf Lessons in Las Palmas

1️⃣ 2-hours long surf lessons in small groups: max. 8 students per surf instructor.
Private lessons with max. 2 students per surf instructor
2️⃣ All wetsuit, surf and bodyboard equipment for all levels included in the lessons
3️⃣ Friendly and familiar atmosphere. Lessons in Spanish and English.
4️⃣ Surf lessons available from Monday to Sunday. Possible to book double sessions, for both morning and afternoon (Monday-Friday) At the weekend we have surf lessons only in the morning

5️⃣ Surfboard only included during the lesson. Possibility to rent equipment to surf on your own
6️⃣ The only Gran Canaria surf camp which has surf school located right by the beach
7️⃣ Qualified surf instructors + insurance included during the lesson

IMPORTANT: Surf lessons might be happening in 95% of the days during the year. But It can happen that we cancel the surf lesson with no time in advance due to unexpected circumstances. Please note that there will not be refunds or surf lessons be moved to another day.

Surf lessons can be canceled because of eventual unexpected events such as big waves, jellyfish, water pollution, lack of waves, extreme winds, yellow alarm, public authority recommendations, rain or other eventual unexpected events. On those cases we will never drive you to other surf spots of the island.

In that case we will propose one alternative activity (surf training specific for surfers, surf skate, stand up paddle, yoga, etc…). This alternative activity will be proposed on arrival at the school.

Which day of the week do the surf lessons start?

✔️ The lessons usually take place from Monday to Sunday, from 10am til 12am.

✔️ There is no determined start day, so you can join the surf classes whenever you want. If the group has already begun, you will get an individual introduction at the beginning of the lesson to catch up with the group and make sure you don’t miss anything.

✔️ For the very athletic among you, we offer the possibility of an intensive course of 4 hours a day, with 2 hours of surf lessons in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon.

✔️ Our classes take place at the beach of La Cicer in Las Palmas. We don’t drive to any other beaches or spots to teach beginner levels, private lessons or intermediate lessons.

What is the structure of the Surf Lesson?

✔️ For beginners the surf lessons consist of theory + warm-up (ca 30 min), practice (ca 1h 30 min) and stretching (ca 15 min).

✔️ Our classes take place at the beach of La Cicer in Las Palmas. We don’t drive to any other beaches or spots to teach beginner levels, private lessons or intermediate lessons.

✔️ Print, read and sign the document Declaration of Responsibility clicking here. Give it to the guy on the desk on arrival please.

Where can i store my belongings?

✔️ We have lockers and changing rooms where you can change before and after class. Your things will remain in school lockers during class.

When do i need to be at the surf school?

✔️ It is required to arrive just 5 minutes before the start time of the lessons. We open the door exactly on starting time of the surf lesson.
